Définition
Définition d'un sous-groupe :
- soit \(G\) un groupe
- soit \(H\subset G\)
- \(e\in H\)
- \(\forall x,y\in H,\quad xy^{-1}\in H\)
$$\Huge\iff$$
- on dit que \(H\) est un sous-groupe de \(G\)
Notation
Notation :
Si \(H\) est un sous-groupe de \(G\), alors on note \(H\lt G\)
Propriétés
Relations d'équivalences naturelles
Remarque :
Soit \(G\) un groupe et \(H\subset G\) un sous-groupe
Alors on a deux relations d'équivalences naturelles sur \(G\) :- à droite : $$g_1\mathcal R_d g_2\iff\exists h\in H,g_1=g_2h$$
- à gauche : $$g_1\mathcal R_g g_2\iff\exists h\in H,g_1=hg_2$$
on peut alors définir les ensembles quotients : $$\pi_d:\begin{align} {{G}}&\longrightarrow {{G/H}}\\ {{ g}}&\longmapsto{{\bar g=gH}}\end{align}\quad\text{ et }\quad\pi_g:\begin{array}{l}{{G}}\longrightarrow {{H\backslash G}}\\ {{ g}}\longmapsto{{\bar g=Hg}}\end{array}$$
Intersection
Intersection de sous-groupes :
- soient \(H_1,H_2\) deux sous-groupes de \(G\)
$$\Huge\iff$$
- \(H_1\cap H_2\) est un sous-groupe
Union
Union de sous-groupes :
- soient \(H_1,H_2\) deux sous-groupes de \(G\)
- \(H_1\cup H_2\) est un sous-groupe de \(G\)
$$\Huge\iff$$
- \(H_1\subset H_2\) ou \(H_2\subset H_1\)
Produit
[!Note] Notation
Si \(X,Y\) sont deux sous-ensembles non vides d'un groupe \(G\), on note : $${{XY}}:={{\{\underbrace{xy}_{\in G}\mid x\in X,y\in Y\} }}$$
Produit de sous-groupes :
- soit \(G\) un groupe
- soient \(H,K\) deux sous-groupes de \(G\)
- \(HK=KH\) dans \(G\)
$$\Huge\iff$$
- \(HK\) est un sous-groupe de \(G\)
